Keeping it simple, there are two ways to manage your printers.

The first, as simple as buy a printer, and then pay as you need for all toner, repairs, servcing etc.

The second is managed print. The difference here is that the management company will look after everything for you, you just pay per each page printed. Toner is supplied and faults are fixed at no additional cost. In theory, managed print saves you money, but there is a catch.

The managed print industry sadly has a reputation for unfair agreements and dubious contractual terms.
